A Nigerian woman has reportedly raised the alarm after allegedly discovering that about ₦3 million she had kept in her Access Bank account was no longer available after she returned from Dubai.
According to the woman’s video  circulating online, the woman had been saving money in the account and travelled to Dubai. She reportedly returned to Nigeria and later discovered that a significant portion of her savings had allegedly disappeared.
The development has sparked concern, particularly over claims that she had previously contacted the bank and was allegedly assured that her funds were safe.
Reports further allege that the withdrawals may have occurred gradually, with one account of the incident claiming that ₦20,000 was allegedly being withdrawn repeatedly from the account since 2024. However, the circumstances surrounding the alleged transactions have not been independently established.
The woman is now reportedly seeking answers from the bank over how the transactions were carried out and who may have had access to her account.
The video   has also generated reactions on social media, with some Nigerians questioning the security of customers’ bank accounts and the procedures used to detect and stop suspicious transactions.
