A confrontation reportedly broke out between a man and a woman in Lagos after the woman allegedly declined the man’s sexual advance during a visit to his residence.
According to the incident’s video , the man had invited the woman to his house, but tension reportedly developed after she refused to have sexual relations with him.
The situation allegedly escalated into a physical confrontation when the woman reportedly asked for transport fare to return home, while the man allegedly refused to provide the money.
The disagreement reportedly became heated, with both parties engaging in a fight before the situation attracted attention.
The video  has sparked discussions about consent, personal boundaries and the expectations that can sometimes arise when people visit one another privately.
Importantly, inviting someone to a private residence does not constitute consent to sexual activity. Consent must be freely given and can be withdrawn at any point. Likewise, disagreement over transportation expenses or other expectations should not result in physical violence.
