The wife had obtained the UK visa, listing her husband and children as dependents. However, tensions arose when she attempted to assert authority over her husband, threatening to remove him from the visa. The husband reported to the UK Home Office that one of the children listed was not his, prompting authorities to cancel the entire visa for the family.

The incident highlights the risks of immigration fraud and the importance of transparency in visa applications. The UK government has been cracking down on fraudulent activities, including visa scams and fake job sponsorships.

According to reports, the husband had revealed a hidden secret – that one of the children they traveled with was not biologically theirs and had no legal adoption documents. This led to the authorities conducting a DNA test, which confirmed the child’s true identity. The wife’s attempts to resolve the issue were too late, and the entire family was deported to Nigeria .

This case serves as a cautionary tale for those seeking to relocate abroad. It’s essential to ensure that all information provided in visa applications is accurate and truthful.
