CRAZY ! Two Keke Drivers Fight Over Driving Disagreement at NTA Road, Port Harcourt
Drama unfolded along NTA Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, after two commercial tricycle, popularly known as keke, drivers reportedly engaged in a physical confrontation following a disagreement over driving.
According to report accompanying theĀ viral video Ā of the incident, one of the drivers was conveying passengers to Mile 3 when one passenger alighted along the route. The driver reportedly used the opportunity to stop briefly and relieve himself by the roadside.
While he was doing so, another keke driver who was also carrying passengers reportedly parked nearby and approached him over an earlier disagreement concerning his manner of driving along NTA Road.
The second driver allegedly complained that the first driver’s driving had affected or damaged the bumper of his tricycle. However, the first driver appeared confused by the complaint and reportedly responded with a surprised “Eeh?” as the confrontation began to escalate.
The situation reportedly took a dramatic turn when the second driver threatened to damage the other driver’s bumper. He allegedly approached the first keke and pulled at its bumper before returning to his own tricycle.
The first driver then reportedly abandoned what he was doing, rushed toward the other driver and allegedly damaged his tricycle as well. What began as a disagreement over driving and an alleged bumper issue subsequently developed into a physical fight between the two men.
The confrontation attracted attention from people in the area, while passengers who had been travelling with the drivers reportedly left the scene and boarded another keke to continue their journey.
The video Ā circulating online appears to capture portions of the altercation and has generated reactions from viewers, with many expressing concern over how quickly a seemingly minor disagreement escalated into violence.
The incident highlights the potential consequences of road-related disputes among commercial drivers and the importance of resolving disagreements calmly rather than allowing them to develop into physical confrontations.
